Stylish Bandhej Saree Style

Bandhej or Bandhani is the painting of royals – The tie-dyed fabric of Gujarat are perhaps the best bent in India. Also recognized as Bandhej.Bandhni sarees are created by dyeing the cloth in such a manner that a lot of small resist-dyed ‘spots’ produce elaborate patterns over the fabric. The usual bandhani saree market has shrunk however, because of the rise of low-cost silk-screened imitations and most modern bandhani sarees are made with larger design and fewer ties than in the past.
There are varieties of bandhej  saree available  in two contrasting colors, with borders, end-pieces and one or more large central medallion called a pomcha or padma (lotus flower). Red and black is the most general color combination but other pairs of colors are also found. For instance, the panetar saree is a Gujarati-Hindu saree of satin weave and Gajji silk with red borders, central medallion and a white body, which may contain regularly spaced red tie-dyed spots.

Bandhni was introduced in Jamnagar when the city was founded 400 years ago. This city has now become one of the chief centers of bandhni, creating new pattern and experimenting with modern colors.
The earliest reference to bandheni is in Bana Bhatt’s Harshacharita, where he describes a royal wedding, “the old matrons were skilled in many sorts of textile patterning, some of which were in the process of being tied (bandhya mana)”. This material was used to make the skirts for women. Abandhoni garment was careful auspicious for the bride. One also finds the maids in the Ajanta wall paintings wearing blouses of tie and dye patterns. Another type of tie and die sari is shibori sari.

TIE AND DYE TODAY :
Today women and girls can be seen sitting in their homes with pieces of malmal (fine muslin), handloom or silk cloth. This cloth is first bleached and then folded into two or four layers depending on the width of the cloth. A rangara or designer marks the layout of the pattern on the material using wooden blocks dipped in geru, a burnt sienna color mixed with water. The craftsmen then begin to tie the cloth, which is not to be dyed. The folds of the material within the small motif are lifted and tied together. The material with the first set of ties is dyed yellow.
RAW MATERIALS NEEDED :
The raw materials obligatory for bandhni sarees (tie & die saree) are – muslin, handloom or silk cloth, ordinary thread for tying, starch and colors for dyeing. Traditionally vegetable dyes were used but today chemical dyes are becoming very popular. The tools required are also very basic – wooden blocks for marking designs and the simple implements for dyeing.

Abaya Fashion

Muslim women and girls are not different, and even they equally love to dress up in nice and vibrant colours for various occasions. Therefore there is need for clothes which is always on an increase for them. Regardless of the conservative Arabic culture, religion or socio-economic situation most of the female population of the Muslim world loves to pick out new outfits and color coordinate their abayas for all social gatherings. Being a girl myself, I can vouch for the fact that fashion is modest and for success. This is a great motto to live by! At the same time, being a Muslim I have to bear in mind the shariah guidelines of Islam when it comes to picking out a jilbab or an abaya to wear to work or party.

So here I have decided to give out some free advice for all my Muslim gal pals out there about looking your best even while wearing Islamic clothes like abayas and hijabs. The first thing that you should be conscious about being a Muslim is to always pick out outfits that are modest and do not allow any sort of inappropriate exposure of the body. It is completely untrue that women wearing abayas lack fashion sense, are dumb or boring. Wearing abayas and hijabs that are styled in vogue, flattering cuts and in complimentary colours can make you appear chic, stylish and modest.
By reinterpreting elements from the western designer fashions and the rich cultural and Islamic heritage of her background, Mysha Collections has infused abaya designs with pure indulgence in fabrics and textures with a twist of modern appeal.

This year hair has been all about revival and evolution. As trends are reused every few years they are changed and grow into something new, yet not straying from their roots. This fallstylesand colours from 2010 will be reworked and mastered. 2011 fall and winter has a lot in store from braids to bangs and teased hair, prepping fashionistas for 2012 as seventies fashion remains high on the runway radar. Pleats, fur and bell bottoms are creeping their way back into the fashion world with a small emphasis on biker-punk look.

There has been a draw towards the look of ‘effortless’, simple yet messy. From a simple double knot to a teased bun on the top of your head, these are all in style. Another aspect of this seasonwill be braids. Specifically double braids with your hair half up. We’ve seen it happening already and it’s still going strong. Lastly, for long hair, a less expected trend of the sexy, half up style is hitting the fashion wave. Whether puffy or sleek, this half up style is good for daytime and night.
Medium Length Hair
The bob has been taking to a whole new level with the addition of the wave. Stylists and models alike are not over the bob yet, but it needed to be reinvented; kept fresh. The fashion trend formedium length hair for fall is the wavy bob. If this doesn’t appeal to you, the bob with fringe is also rolling it’s way onto the circuit. Straight, streamlined bangs with a bob, curled at the bottom will also be seen this fall.

Name Tattoos for Women

Most people look at getting a name tattoo design to honor someone they love or value in their life. Often people getting name tattoos get their lovers name, child’s name, or a close friend or relatives name inked onto their body. This is a very personal decision and indicates to the person how much they mean to you should you decide to get a name tattoo design on yourbody.
Name tattoos come in a variety of different shapes, sizes and fonts, which make choosing the right design a tough decision with so many different options to choose from. Here are 2 pieces of advice I will share with you when looking for name tattoo designs.
There is a wide variety of different fonts and lettering that can be used to design your name tattoo, so it’s important that you look through a range of different styles before making your decision.

A popular trend is to get the persons name inked in another language, making the tattoo much more meaningful. Common designs in other languages are Japanese (kanji), Chinese symbols, as well as Hebrew and Arabic.
Often, the hardest part of getting a tattoo design is deciding on and finding the tattoo design. I have found the best place to start looking for designs is browsing through online tattoo gallerieswhich feature thousands of tattoo designs. These galleries usually have a whole range of different styles of name tattoos as well as lettering and calligraphy to help you get started.

Also don’t forget to consider where on your body you want your name tattoo design placed. Do you want it on a highly visible location like the back of your neck, or in a not so visible place, such as the ankle? It’s important to ask yourself that question before getting inked.

Stylish Modern Black Hair Styles

No matter whether or not whether your pet black hair style is braided, curly, locks, sleek and directly, short and funky or twisted and intricate, there are a few clothes that you should consider before decide on what black hair style to choose for your next do.
Due to the flexibility of the black hair style and black hair in general, ethnic hair styles include some of the most intricate and stunning hair creations to be found among fashion-conscious people today. While many compete to make their black hair style more elaborate and beautifulthan the next, many fail to observe basic hair styling fundamentals, which are vital to ensure that a black hair style compliments the wearer rather than detracts from his or her personal beauty.
Black hair style fundamentals
When choosing the right black hair style for you, it is important to pay special attention to your facial features and bone structure. The right black hair style can take the most beautiful facial skin you have and formulate them absolutely stunning. The wrong black hair style, on the other hand, can completely mask those features and may even highlight features you would rather hide.

When choosing the perfect black hair style for your unique look, stylists should take into account your build. For example, close cropped black hair styles would not suit a person with a large frame, nor would a full-bodied black hair style compliment a person with a small frame. Making sure that your style and frame balance is the key here.
Stylists also should look at your face shape when choosing the best black hair style for you. There are five basic face shapes: oval, heart, round, square and triangular. All of these shapes can be gorgeous, but one is ideal: oval. No matter what shaped face you have, achieving the perfect look involves picking the right black hair style that will make your face appear more oval.
Round faces are just that: round. They have wide cheekbones and are usually smaller through the forehead and chin. The goal here is to minimize the cheekbones. Black hair styles with height in the bang and sides cut toward the face usually work best.
Square faces have a bold forehead and an angular jaw line. Black hair styles with soft edges, and a great deal of texture directed toward the face really suit this shape. The length should be kept longer than jaw length to draw attention away from the jaw, but, at the same time, that length should be layered. A straight, sleek black hair style would only serve to accent the angular lines of the face.
